Bob just called (9 am), and he has 20 knot winds and big seas as the winds have been up since last night. As for sleep, very little. He says he really is off shore now...the water is a deep blue.
I am following weather for him and according to what I can see the winds should drop off somewhat later today. But of course the seas take a while to lie down after the winds go down.
What I hope will happen is tomorrow or whenever he has gone 200 miles, he will head to Mazatlan ...I can only hope.
As for me I am keeping busy gardening and cleaning. When I am worried the house gets a real cleaning!!
