You can tell that I have way too much time on my hands.  This morning I was up at 5 am.  When we return to Patzcuaro I sleep about 5 hours and then my body wants more oxygen.  Meanwhile Bob and Patches are still sleeping soundly.
SO because of comments on my lack of photos, here is a hodge podge.  Enjoy.

Back in Beautiful Patzcuaro

These are some photos taken at the Christmas Party in Barra de Navidad.  No names are mentioned to protect the innocent!

Yesterday was a long day as we were up at 6 and had a longer drive than normal as the traffic was very heavy.  Note that I say a longer drive as we are now landlubbers.
When we left the boat on Wednesday afternoon (one last dock happy hour/safety meeting), I was sad.  It took me a moment to realize that, not only would I miss our dock neighbours, but I had become 'at home' on the boat.  That took me by surprise.
Today has been busy as there is always so much to put away when we return.  I removed all my clothing from the boat as the heat destroys all the elastic and leaves behind some crunchy stuff!!
Bob now has the cold/flu that I had.  His voice is disappearing and he is feeling 'under the weather'...which is another sailing term.
Sitting at the computer, I look out on the garden...calla lilies. bouganvillas. poinsettias, and fuschias are in bloom.  It is very relaxing.

Patches has touched base with his 4 dog buddies from across the street.   About 5 minutes of growling took place and then they were friends again.  Patches is having a quiet day other than the occasional foray outside to visit with the guys.
Oh yes, the first thing I did when we got home yesterday evening was light a fire (in the fireplace).  Then I had a glass of wine and enjoyed the fire.
This morning we went for breakfast at Lupita's.  Bob had on a sweat shirt and a jacket.  I had on a short sleeved top and a light sweater.  He was shivering and I felt great.   Other than panting as we climbed the hill to the restaurant,  I was enjoying the blue skies and sun.  Of course the altitude doesn't affect Bob nor Patches.
We had a young boy looking after our garden and he did a wonderful job.  I think we had fewer plant deaths this year than ever.  In fact I would probably have killed more plants if I had been at home.
Now we are back in this routine which is such a different life than when we are on the boat.  Both are good!!
